It is a great delight to receive recipies from the members. Here is one that Pat Sledge passed on to me before she went outside in May. I held it until her return, so now that she is back, safe and sound, here it is.
Combine ingredients in a soup pot. Add 2 or 3 cans (use the bean can) of water. Add seasonings as you are heating the pot to a boil. Cover and let simmer for awhile.
Makes 2 or 3 servings.
Pat's Notes: The only store in which I have found Trappy's Navy Beans is the Red Apple.
